Lewis-Clark State College's Harris Field is home to one of the most successful baseball programs in collegiate baseball history.
The Warriors have captured 19 NAIA World Series titles and appeared in the tournament's final game 25 times--including in 2017.
In total, Harris Field has hosted the NAIA National Baseball Championship 28 times and has seen over 1,000,000 fans walk through its gate.
Hundreds of players who have competed at the friendly confines of Harris Field have gone on to play in the Major Leagues, including a number of Warriors.
The Warriors have had 18 alumni play in the major leagues, and 139 players drafted since 1975. A Warrior has been chosen in each MLB Amateur Draft from 1978-2018, and the program has had at least one player selected by all 30 active MLB franchises.
Harris Field sits on the corner of 6th Street and 11th Avenue in Lewiston. The venue seats 5,000, although a record number of 5,530 fans piled in to watch the Warriors win the title in 2008.
Named for Loyd Harris, known as "Mr. Baseball" during his time as a local businessman and baseball fan in the 1930s, the field has served as the backdrop for many historic moments in NAIA baseball. The park also plays host to the Lewis-Clark Twins and Cubs, the area's American Legion squads.
The facility includes a practice infield beyond the left field fence, and an indoor hitting facility beyond the right field fence. Harris Field improvements over the last 10 years have included a new lighting system, press box, and upgraded stadium seating.
