Knights Field has been the home of the Bellarmine baseball program since the facility was built in 1954. Seeded with natural grass and located in a beautiful setting at the face of the campus, Knights Field offers a scenic view and a classic baseball experience for all attendees.

Featuring covered dugouts, bullpens, a batting cage and an elevated press box, it has everything needed to develop the modern student-athlete. The home dugout lies to the outside of the first base line. A 20-foot-high fence lines the outfield with the scoreboard sitting just outside of right field. The dimensions of Knights Field are 355 feet to left, 380 to dead center and 335 down the right field line, with each power alley measuring at 360 feet.

Though traditional seating at Knights Field is bleacher style, this is far from the only method in which the fans can take in the game. A perk of the field being located at the bottom of natural rolling hillsides is the unique perspective it offers for watching the Knights play baseball. The neighboring hills follow a graded upward slope, which Knights Nation has made a tradition of utilizing as their own form of seating. This method began to catch on with more and more fans each year and has since become a staple of enjoying a game at Knights Field.

Knights Field and the accompanying Knights locker room underwent the most recent renovation in 2013. Both dugouts were extended out 10 feet and were modified to include the addition of a 5-foot padded railing to enclose the dugouts allowing for a much more comfortable space for players and coaches during games and practices. The infield surface was laser graded and resurfaced with higher quality fielding. Irrigation was installed in the outfield in order to allow the field to remain pristine even when the temperature rises. In turn, Knights Field now features a much truer playing surface than in the years prior to renovation.
